We’re hiring!

Would you like a job where you’re viewed as a full and complete person, with your own needs, goals, hopes and dreams outside of just…being employed?

Do you have a very particular set of skills, skills you have acquired over a very long career, skills that make you a nightmare for job roles like ours?

Or are you a web crawler bot endlessly scraping the internet hoping to find SEO terms like “Human Employment Business Job”?

If you emphatically answered “YES!” to anywhere between One (1) and Three (3) of the above questions, then 121 Systems would like to hear from you!

FAQ:

What Departments are hiring?

As of February 2022, we have positions available in Development, Marketing, Sales and Professional Services.

Wow, that’s a lot of Departments. Why so many?

Our current hiring push coincides with having recently shifted our entire product and service stack moving into the cloud (specifically Microsoft Azure). This move has created fantastic opportunities, and some spicy interesting challenges as we continue to take advantage of new business and infrastructure opportunities.

We’re now able to instantly scale to our larger customer’s needs – anywhere on Earth (with Moon / Mars support planned for Pulse Platform 3.2). An unexpected but fantastic consequence is that we can now serve smaller budget minded customers in a way our competitors couldn’t hope to in their wildest dreams.

Somehow, we’ve been able to do all of this while maintaining a fair and equitable distribution of time slots for everyone here to positively savage respectfully challenge co-workers at the official 121 Systems Ping-Pong table. Talk about bouncing ideas off each other! Get it? More like Zing-Pong, am I right?

That joke was horrible and makes me want to stay far away from whoever wrote it. Are there opportunities for WFH / Hybrid working?

We’re located in the beautiful sunny locale that is Derbyshire, England, and we owe a lot to the talent and community both here and in nearby Nottingham.

There will be some preference given to candidates for Lead/Senior positions who are somewhat local and can be in office at least during onboarding / initial Voltron-combinification of their team.

However, we intimately understand the overwhelming urge to, and the unimaginable improvement to quality of life that working while in pyjama bottoms and not dealing with traffic brings. One half of the Work/Life balance is significantly more important than the other, so If you aren’t local to the area (and don’t have the gift/curse of superhuman teleportation) we’re open to WFH and Hybrid Working.

I don’t have no goshdang city-slicker book learnins, can still job I have please?

On this specific topic we are happy to say that here at 121 Systems : we could not care less.

Do you have a PhD and an honorary membership to the ‘Venerable Society of Persons with Abnormally Large Brains’ ?

Great!

Were you raised by a pack of particularly rabid hedgehogs, and despite the disadvantages you faced you’ve somehow clawed and gnawed your way to the top of your field? (As in your professional field – not the one you were raised in).

Weird, but cool!

Our team is made of individuals from a wide array of education, work, and life experiences. Truthfully, it’s one of our greatest strengths. If you have experience and demonstrable

121 Systems are through and through an equal opportunity employer (we even employ a Canadian). Take a peek through the job listings below, if none of them seem to fit quite right but you think you’ve got the moves, still fire over an email to the address below, we’d love to hear from you.
