St Wilfrid’s Christmas Tree Recycle Project 2022
In January 2022 and with the help of 121 systems.
St Wilfrid’s Hospice in West Sussex, England, successfully ran their Christmas tree recycle project for the 3rd year running.
We asked the hospice to share how it went, and this is what they had to say!
“It was another great green and charitable success story this year!
Residents in our catchment area signed up for us to collect their Christmas trees in return for a donation to the hospice.
We raised over £13,300 in total to fund vital hospice care.
This project could fund care for a single ward bed for 22 days, supporting patients at the end of their lives.
Fantastic group of volunteers
We had a fantastic group of volunteers to do all the collections and had some great local community partnerships to help us recycle all of the trees.
This year we recycled over 1,000 trees, and we’ve managed to ensure all those trees become helpful compost.
The critical logistical team to ensuring this project ran smoothly and efficiently is creating all the routes to collect those trees.
We could not be more grateful for the support and expertise of 121 Systems in helping us deliver a smooth and seamless event.
Service is second to none.
Their service is second to none, and we are so happy with how the project went.
121 Systems made it so easy for us, and we couldn’t have done this project without their generosity and support.
From the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU!”
